The Nephrology Department and the Kidney Room at MLHUMC handle the evaluation, management, and education of patients with renal problems, chronic or acute renal failure, hemo and peritoneal dialysis.
The Kidney room at MLHUMC is fully equipped with 17 dialysis machines of the latest technology.
A dedicated isolation room equipped with a machine in a private setting is operated by a highly trained and caring staff in a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment. Hepatitis patients have their own dedicated machines.
International infection control standards are meticulously applied. This was certified by the committee for hospital accreditation of the Lebanese MOH (2011).
TV and Music entertainment apparatus are hooked to the automated dialysis chairs and beds in order to provide a soothing and relaxing atmosphere for the patients during their stay.
Our highly qualified staff helps and coaches the patients and their families to improve the patient’s quality of life, and achieve an optimum level of patient safety and dedicated care.
