Mount Lebanon Hospital-University Medical Center Earns Prestigious JCI Gold Seal of Approval for the Fourth Time

Hazmieh, Lebanon – Mount Lebanon Hospital-University Medical Center (MLHUMC) proudly announces that it has been accredited for the fourth time by the Joint Commission International (JCI), receiving the prestigious Gold Seal of Approval® for Patient Safety and Quality. This recognition, one of the most respected international healthcare accreditations, is awarded only to institutions that meet the highest global standards in patient safety, quality of care, and hospital management. Widely considered one of the most difficult certifications to achieve, the JCI Gold Seal places MLHUMC among the best JCI-accredited hospitals in Lebanon, the Middle East, and the world.

This fourth accreditation was highly celebrated by the hospital’s management, physicians, staff, and distinguished personalities during a special gathering at the St. George Hotel & Beach Club in Beirut. The evening included a joyful celebration with music and dancing, marking a historic milestone for the institution. The hospital also received congratulations from His Excellency, the Minister of Labor of Lebanon, Dr. Mohamed Haidar, as well as from strategic partners, alongside professors from the University of Balamand and leading physicians, managers, and staff members.
